As an architect passionate about historic architecture and coastal landscapes, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Terra in Novalja, Croatia. The hotel's blend of historical significance and culinary innovation truly captivated me.Upon dining at the hotel restaurant, I was delighted to taste their delicious seasonal specialties. I savored the widely famous indigenous lamb of Pag and fresh white and blue fish, all made with love in the hotel kitchen. The dishes were dressed with a pinch of local spices, which added a delightful twist to the flavors. Accompanied by the best oils from Oleoteca and a wide choice of rich wines from all Croatia in Enoteca, the dining experience was truly exceptional.One morning, while enjoying a cup of coffee at the bar, I had a friendly chat with the staff and members of the family who made me feel right at home. The breakfast offerings, including cheese, olive oil, asparagus, homemade jams, and more. Hotel Terra's restaurant not only offers a delightful dining experience but also a culturally enriching one. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a blend of cultural delights and gastronomic indulgence in a serene coastal setting.
